Rough Carpentry

Our team will get your project started strong with our efficient and cost-effective framing of new wood buildings, as well as rehab of existing wood structures.

 Our crew completed structural framing repairs on historic sections of the original structure. 
Wood framing for two new constructions on constrained urban sites.  Site 2630 is a four-story apartment building, and site 2600 is a three-story mixed-use with upper-level apartments and first floor retail. Our teams built all wood framing for the combined 36,900 SF of new construction.

Finish Carpentry & Millwork

We bring a custom finish to your project with our team of carpenters and craftspeople, as well as the expert installation of architectural millwork, casework, trim and casings.

We completed a brand-new fit-out at the iconic Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse, located in downtown Cincinnati. Our team installed elements throughout the entire restaurant from wall panels, the main bar and sushi bar, glass and mirrors, casework, wine rooms and back of house. 
We installed high-end, custom millwork in the first-floor lobby at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine Research Building in Lexington, Kentucky.

General Trades

When your project is in the home stretch, our precision builders can carry you over the finish line with our installation of hollow metal frames, wood doors, hollow metal doors, and hardware. We can also provide the labor force to complete an arsenal of construction subcontractors and general trades tasks for Construction Managers on their projects. Offerings include temporary barricades, safety tasks, and specialty installations like bird netting, interior signage, restroom accessories, etc.

Our teams installed the doors, frames, hardware, and custom casework for this 62,000 SF boutique hotel in downtown Cincinnati. The historic building was built in 1915, with many historic features lovingly maintained.

Exterior Improvements

Our team will make sure your structure is putting its best face forward. Update or improve the exterior of your building with our installation services for metal panel siding and hardi siding, as well as installation services for window replacement and restoration, including extensive experience in historic windows.

The historic house was in disrepair and required a complete wood siding and wood window removal and replacement. Trade31 provided several specific carpentry services. Our teams peeled the existing tongue and groove siding and existing finished, remilled the existing wood into shiplap, and reinstalled the existing as well as new siding as required. All existing shutters were restored and all windows were reglazed with the sashes and jambs reworked.
Fabrication and installation of new windows at historic Kirkland Hall at Vanderbilt University. Trade31 and Stanton Millworks collaborated on the fabrication of wood windows and doors, which included 160 custom window openings and three custom doors. 
We completed decorative structural repairs at the historic Loveland Railroad Depot. Rotting wood was removed from the north and south dormers and rebuilt on-site to keep the building’s aesthetic. 

General Contracting/Fit Outs

In addition to all previously listed services, our streamlined and nimble teams can perform general construction management on smaller-scale commercial and specialty projects. We are a one-stop-shop for projects from retail face-lifts to interior office renovations, break room refreshes to restaurant fit-outs.

Extensive fit out package that included the renovation of the entire space, including bars, dining rooms, party rooms, kitchen, and outside entryway. 
Our partnership with Taste of Belgium has include retrofit of high-end millwork across multiple locations.
