The BIA- NKY Enzweiler Building Institute (EBI), which began in 1967, is the longest running postsecondary trades training school. Enzweiler Building Institute continues to provide a well-trained skilledtrades workforce with their apprenticeship model of students working in the field during the day and taking classes at night. This “learn while you earn” approach will allow you to graduate free from student loan debt.
The carpentry program is a two-year curriculum that focuses on either Rough Carpentry or Finish
Carpentry.
Those in the Rough Carpentry track learn safety, blueprint reading, math for construction and
construction terminology. Students master skills through hands-on practice under the direction of a seasoned carpenter.
The Finish Carpentry track hones the basic skills and advances student knowledge and precision.
Students will work through hands-on assignments and complete higher-level tasks that allow them to master their craft.
